I learned when I observe with the least reaction
I can respond more in a way like it never happened and just move on
I even find myself laughing in certain situations
Remembering how the old me would erupt in frustration with no hesitation
I swapped that out for Peace and Patience. I’ll be grateful instead
I do my best not to waste my energy on negativity anymore
It’s a wasted chore. The new me seeks Peace and so much more
Like a more positive world where more people get along
What happened to “We are the world” “Give peace a chance”

I found the best way to keep enjoying the ride is to live in the moment

Focus on the more important stuff
Like spending quality time with my family and friends. Making quick amends
Life’s too short to drag out arguments that turn to grudges that never end
I recognize the importance of relationships
Where the happiest people maintain them with love and care
Treat everyone with kindness. Pack those good deeds in.

The best part of the ride is just kicking back
